Barrio Ramón Carrillo, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
We are working on the extension of the center “Juan Pablo II” for the support of young people undergoing treatment for the rehabilitation of addictions.
WORK LINE: COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION – HEALTH
THECNICAL AREA: INFRASTRUCTURE
Juan Pablo II center, Virgen Inmaculada church, Javier Aleman architecture studio, Ministry of Social Development and EWB-Ar volunteers.
What we are doing
We are working to improve the conditions of the existing premises and to generate new spaces to facilitate rehab treatments for addicts.
The center has one room and facilities in poor conditions. All the activities such as workshops, lectures and assistance are developed there. Besides, this center supplies food for 60 people daily. The lack of space and rooms to accommodate vulnerable young people undergoing treatment prevents the center from providing a comprehensive support in the rehab process.
With the execution of this project we will
To facilitate the rehab treatment of neighbors, providing an adequate space.
To strengthen the abilities of the Center to show this problem.
