WHY
The children’s soup kitchen, “Todos por una sonrisa”, has been working for three years in the Altos de San Lorenzo neighborhood where the majority of residents don’t have access to basic services. In this outdoor space, female neighbors volunteer to cook by wood to provide food for more than 100 children. It is also a place which offers workshops and promotes literacy.
With this project we
-
Offered children more opportunities.
-
Strengthened the work of a community neighborhood organization.
-
Improved conditions where the children have access.
