What we are doing
We are working on the design and construction of a place for workshops and other productive activities for young and adult people, especially women from the neighborhood, so that they have access to training and work facilities.
Why
For more than 35 years, the Foundation “Todavia es Tiempo” has been working with families in vulnerable situations in Paso del Rey, Moreno, province of Buenos Aires. It was with the aim of generating opportunities to learn and work for the women who take their children to activities in the Foundation, that, in the past few years, the Foundation started to offer them training in different trades, such as: carpentry, pottery, bakery, chocolate and home-made jam production, among others.
Because of the lack of opportunities in the area, the demand for work and training has grown a lot but the spaces for productive activities are, now, insufficient.
With the implementation of this project, we will:

Promote a training and productive space for young people and adults in socially vulnerable situations.

Improve the life quality of the families in the neighborhood through work inclusion.

Broaden the offer of activities and training provided by the Foundation Todavía es Tiempo.

Train people who attend the workshops in the different trades.

Leave installed abilities for the sustainability and development of the Foundation.
