What we have done
We have worked on the construction of a room for “Pequeños Gigantes” soup kitchen and gived it support in the process of forming a nonprofit organization.
Why
The neighborhood is 14 km away from the city center. The merendero opened its doors in 2013 and works up to this day in a precarious metal sheets house. The mothers of the neighborhood serve the snack and organize activities for special dates for 30 boys and girls, and distribute donations as food or clothing for families who are in a vulnerable situation. In 2015, the construction of a room began, discontinuing the work before its completion.
